Pearl, MS 39208 • Remote Job Description This position will support customers with routine issues such as password resets, basic peripheral access and documentation of issues that need to be escalated for additional remediation. Most workdays will involve managing call queues with occasional onsite work at client locations to support the engineering team as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving basic technical issues with hardware, software, and networks.
Customer Interaction:
Communicating with users via phone, email, or chat to understand their needs and provide guidance.
Problem Escalation:
Recognizing when a problem requires a more advanced level of expertise and escalating it accordingly.
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of user inquiries, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Basic Repairs:
Performing simple repairs or configurations on computer systems and peripherals.
Software Updates:
Assisting users with installing or updating software.
Hardware Setup:
Setting up new computer hardware or peripherals.
Help Desk Management:
Using help desk software to manage tickets, track progress, and communicate with users.
User Training:
Providing basic training on software or hardware to new users.
