Completes technical application configuration during initialsystem setup and works in conjunction with Application SupportAnalysts to provide ongoing support of clients? complex technicalprojects. Essential Job Duties/Primary Responsibilities ? Performs application configuration work to implement systems andprovide on-going change services. Create and modify business rulesagainst data entry searches, functionality, and data presentation,through business rule expression language. ? Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves or manages problem toresolution ensuring application fully satisfies customers in termsof data integrity, application expectations and other factorsaccording to customer requirements. ? Works in close collaboration with account management, databaseadministration, product development and system engineering asnecessary to facilitate rapid problem solving and implementchanges. ? Uses knowledge of RDMS for analysis, scripting, andtroubleshooting application and data interface issues. ? Write SQL queries to research physical data and applicationrelated issues; planning, implementing and managing changes ? Develops technical configuration change steps. ? Assists with the initial implementation and continued maintenanceof networks and hardware for application hosting ? Leads application change projects; exercises project control andstatus reporting techniques, identifies risks and developsmitigation plan and manages customer expectations. Job Qualifications/Education ? BS degree in related IT or business field or equivalent workexperience ? Requires 5+ years of directly related experience such as workingin product implementation or support including leadershipexperience. ? Excellent interpersonal, analytical, business and technicaljudgment, and problem solving skills. ? Negotiation skills ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ? Strong technical skills required including demonstrated knowledgeof RDBMS. ? Prior experience with SQL and/or programming language isconsidered an asset ? Demonstrated knowledge of DB query language, data manipulationand data load concepts ? Technical project management/coordination skills. ? Ability to immediately adapt to changing requirements andconditions. ? Experience in a matrix team environment desired. ? Strong client orientation and customer service skills tounderstand and drive customer solutions. ? Able to translate client?s business needs/requirements andpresents issues to a range of audience members ?
