Service Desk Technician Corporate Information Technologies Statesville, NC 28677 • Hybrid work
Job Purpose and Objective:
An ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a collaborative, fast-paced and professional environment. They will be able to actively pick and work service tickets, pivot effectively between differing clients and issues all while keeping a positive, energetic professional disposition. Being detail oriented and having the ability to quickly analyze a problem for resolution and using forethought to implement corrective actions to improve service delivery and avoid re-occurrence is highly valued. Position may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Provide day to day customer support of our Service Desk Front-line triage, prioritization and servicing of Service Desk tickets Document all communication within ticketing system Provide remote support to existing customers within SLAs for support of workstations, software systems, servers and basic support and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN network systems. Following tickets through until resolution. Make note of recurring issues and work with the team to resolve them collaboratively. Support and enhance key processes & documentation. Escalate dissatisfied end user/client tickets using escalation process. Escalate advanced technical issues using the escalation process. Technology Experience Required (Design, Administration and Problem Resolution) Knowledge and Experience Required 1-4 years Troubleshooting current Windows Desktop operating systems Installing and troubleshooting MS Office Applications Hardware support for common vendors (Lenovo, Dell, HP) VPN systems AD Password resets and user creation Knowledge and Experience Desired Network+ – Basic Networking MS Azure AD /Entra Experience Virtualization for desktops Firewall Management Candidates must include a current resume to be considered for the position.
