Job Description

As a Director IT here at Honeywell, you will lead the IT team for the Tech & Engineering department in our Advanced Materials business unit. You will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies and solutions to support the business objectives and drive digital transformation. You will report directly to our Enterprise Business Application Leader. This role will work out of our Morris Plains, Charlotte or Houston location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on Honeywell by driving the adoption of innovative technologies, optimizing IT processes, and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business leaders to identify and implement IT solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance productivity, and enable business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Develop and execute IT strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives + Lead the IT team in delivering high-quality IT services and support to the Tech & Engineering department + Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize IT initiatives + Drive digital transformation by implementing innovative technologies and solutions + Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems and infrastructure + Manage IT budgets and resources effectively + Experience working with LIMS (Labvantage) , PLM (Teamcenter), Ecosys & Accolad + Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and best practices + Drive strategy to build effective teams ensuring talent strategies and succession planning are in place

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field + 8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles + Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security + Proven experience in driving digital transformation and implementing innovative technologies
