Job Description:

As a Geek Squad Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact forpeople seeking technology support, knowledge and solutions forcomputers and other devices at our local Best Buy store. We’llprovide the training and resources you need to assess customers’needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents asneeded on more complex repairs. If family and friends go to youwith their tech questions, this might be the perfect role foryou. What you’ll do Provide positive, timely service to customers during thecheck-in and checkout process Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening,asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providingaccurate time estimates for next steps Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whetherto repair or replace old devices Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates tocustomers Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified trainingcourses Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agentsBasicqualifications 3 months of experience working in retail or customerservice Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nightsand weekendsPreferred qualifications Passion for technology and desire to solve problems Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-pacedindustryWhat’s in it for you We’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
