Support Engineer Position Available In Pender, North Carolina

Job Description Identifies, diagnoses and resolves problems for internal users and client computing environments by identifying system requirements installing upgrades, and resolving hardware, software and OIS issues. Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone or on site at customer premises. Ability to perform regular Telephony support functions for the following: handsets, peripheral, hardware, cabling, wiring, data drops Help install local area network cabling systems and equipment such as network interface cards, hubs, and switches. Participate in IT Operations on call as needed to supplement 24×7 support. On call support 1 week out of every 5 weeks but then every other Friday is a ½ day after being on call. Ensures that all projects and tasks are documented following IT documentation standards and that any project information is appropriately disseminated to team members Take ownership of all assigned tickets and drive to resolution; researching and escalating to a vendor as necessary.
