TJT is currently seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our information technology team in a full-time role. TJT is a public accounting firm based in North Carolina, employing over 275 professionals across four office locations. This position is entirely onsite at TJT’s Raleigh office. This entry-level technical position provides level 1 support to members of our organization. The ideal candidate should possess 1-2 years of prior IT experience or be a recent college graduate with a degree in Information Technology. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for hardware and software support, both in-person and remotely across multiple office locations Collaborate with fellow IT team members to provide high-quality technical service and consultation to internal employees Manage the ticket queue, ensuring requests are resolved and closed within defined service level agreements (SLAs) Support, deploy, and manage upgrades to Windows laptops, desktops, standard office applications, and other line-of-business software Administer user and group permissions in Active Directory and Entra ID Provide audio/video conferencing support as needed Participate in employee training and education on IT systems and best practices Assist with inventory management and maintenance of technical documentation Support departmental and firm-wide cybersecurity policies and initiatives Execute general IT initiatives set forth by the department Attributes for

Technical Requirements:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred 0-2 years of experience with using and supporting the following technologies: Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Entra ID Microsoft 365 services including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune and other Office products Remote Desktop connections and VPN Backup and recovery software Video conferencing Experience with configuration, troubleshooting, and installation of software and hardware equipment Foundational knowledge of networking principles Basic familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and maintenance of existing scripts Why TJT?
