Desktop Support Technician Hermez IT Raleigh, NC 27601 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support to our internal users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all desktop equipment and systems. Responsibilities Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely, or via phone. Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Manage user accounts in Active Directory and provide technical support for software applications. Collaborate with the IT team to resolve complex technical issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of IT inventory and equipment. Qualifications Proven experience in technical support roles with a strong understanding of Windows operating systems. Familiarity with Mac OS, Linux, computer networking, VPN, LAN/WAN technologies. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Knowledge of Windows Server environments and experience with Remedy ticketing system is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions to users at all levels.
