DescriptionThe Level 1 Help Desk Technician provides first-linesupport to end-users experiencing technical issues. This roleinvolves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, resolvingbasic IT issues, and escalating more complex problems tohigher-level support teams as needed.
- Respond to and resolve ahigh volume of initial IT support requests via phone, email, orchat, including password resets, software installations, andhardware troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware andsoftware issues, including operating system problems, connectivityissues, and user account management
- Contribute to and utilizethe internal knowledge base for common issues and solutions andprovide feedback for improvement
- Create, update, and closesupport tickets in the IT ticketing systems, ensuring accuratedocumentation of all issues and resolutions
- Provide excellentcustomer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitudewhile assisting users with their technical issues
- Strongproblem-solving skills and attention to detail includingmulti-tasking
- Effectively troubleshoot and resolve customercomplaints or concerns while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Meet or exceed performance metrics including call handling time,quality assurance, and other metrics as assigned
- Perform otherduties as assignedSkillsWindows 10, Windows 7, call center support,TroubleshootingAdditional Skills & QualificationsTraining willstart on Monday 5/19The Tier II qualifications would be to have oneof the following; candidates who meet one of the criteria below canbe started at $15.50/hr.
- AA or some sort of completed educationin Computer Science or related IT field
