IT Help Desk Analyst 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Raleigh, NC 27699 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Help Desk Analyst to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to end-users, ensuring that all issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies, including LAN, Windows Server, DNS, and desktop support systems. If you are passionate about helping others and have a knack for troubleshooting technical issues, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Provide first-level support for technical issues via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Assist users with Active Directory account management including password resets and user access requests. Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management and documentation of user issues. Maintain and update documentation for IT processes and procedures. Support LAN connectivity issues and assist with network troubleshooting. Manage software installations using SCCM to ensure compliance with company standards. Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues as necessary. Ensure timely resolution of incidents while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in a customer service or technical support role. Strong knowledge of desktop support technologies including Windows operating systems. Familiarity with LAN infrastructure and basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP). Experience with Active Directory management is preferred. Proficiency in using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems. Understanding of SCCM for software deployment is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
