We are headquartered in Wake Forest, NC, and currently own and manage properties across several states in the region. As a company just over 2 years old, we’re still very much in the startup phase—scaling rapidly and building out key departments, including IT. With a hands-on, entrepreneurial spirit, we’re laying the groundwork for long-term growth and looking for a proactive IT Specialist to help us launch and lead our internal IT operations. Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Onboarding Serve as the first-line contact for employee IT requests: hardware, software, network, and mobile devices Manage new hire setups: provisioning, access control, and documentation Network & Infrastructure Management Maintain VPNs, firewalls, Wi‑Fi, and network configurations across office and property sites Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and installation Endpoint Security & Cyber Awareness Implement and monitor endpoint protection and basic phishing/fraud prevention Ensure secure configurations for company devices Physical Technology Oversight Assist with installation and troubleshooting of security cameras, access systems, and other property tech Routine IT Maintenance & Inventory Track devices, software licenses, and IT assets Perform regular updates, troubleshooting, and basic documentation of IT processes Cross‑Functional Collaboration Support integrations with third-party platforms and liaise with external IT vendors What We’re Looking For 2+ years in an IT support or generalist role (help desk, desktop support, IT specialist) Broad technical skillset covering networking, Windows, mobile device management, and cybersecurity tools Strong problem-solving and communication abilities in a fast-paced startup setting Familiarity with property technology (e.g., camera systems, smart locks) is a plus Self-motivated, flexible, and comfortable wearing multiple hats Company Benefits Medical, dental and vision 401 (k) with employer matching Unlimited PTO Quarterly team events Annual bonuses / merit increases Opportunity for growth
