North State Bank has an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Specialist in our Information Technology Department. This role provides first level support of workstation hardware, software, operating systems, applications and the bank’s core operating system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides technical support to Bank employees by responding to issues reported through the helpdesk in accordance with established SLA’s, procedures, standards, and policies. Deploys, configures, maintains, and decommissions end-user workstations in accordance with established procedures, standards, and policies. Deploys, configures, maintains, and decommissions workstation peripherals including printing and image capture devices, in accordance with established procedures, standards, and policies Coordinates with business units to provision, configure, and deprovision resources for external audits. Assists System Administrators with patching deployments and vulnerability remediation through patch testing, validation, troubleshooting, and installation as needed. Coordinates with System Administrators and IT Operations Specialist to provision, configure, support, and deprovision mobile devices connecting to Bank systems. Assists Infrastructure and Network Engineers supporting the Bank’s VOIP system by installing, configuring, maintaining, and decommissioning end-user telephony hardware and software in accordance with established procedures, standards, and policies. Performs user and equipment relocations in coordination with Infrastructure and Network Engineers to ensure appropriate provisioning of services to support the move. Provides setup, support, and operation of technology and audio-visual equipment for meetings. Provides training to end-users on proper use of technology in accordance with established procedures, standards, and policies Prepare hardware scheduled for disposal by securely removing locally stored data in accordance with established procedures, standards, and policies. Escorts and work with vendor technicians while onsite providing support for HVAC, access control, and emergency services at area locations. Assists with IT Asset Management by performing hardware and software installation and removal at the direction of System Administrators and coordinates orders with IT Operations Specialist. Qualifications (Includes education, certifications, experience, etc.): Associate’s degree in an Information Technology-related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two years of desktop support experience in a corporate environment required. Experience supporting technology in a highly regulated industry preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems required. Familiarity with supporting PC’s joined to a Microsoft Active Directory domain preferred. Demonstrated, direct technical support and troubleshooting experience with hardware such as desktops, laptops, and printers required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
