Job Description
CTG is seeking to fill a PC Technician II opening for our client in Raleigh, NC.

Ongoing Contract Duties:
Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues. Deploy, replace, and track laptops/PCs while maintaining accurate asset records. Install and configure hardware and software; support IT infrastructure projects. Respond to support tickets via phone, email, and voicemail in a timely, professional manner. Log incidents in the ticketing system and escalate when necessary. Maintain password protocols, file system security, and ensure data integrity. Provide training and support to end users on applications and system usage. Collaborate with higher-level support teams for issue resolution and escalation management. Assist junior technicians with guidance and mentorship. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
Strong troubleshooting abilities with hardware, software, and network systems. Proficiency in Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and security tools. Familiarity with mobile device platforms (Android/iOS) and multifunction devices. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Deployment Configuration (WDC), and Intune. Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong customer service orientation with a professional and courteous demeanor.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support roles. Proven experience resolving technical issues in Help Desk environments. Hands-on experience with device deployment, application installation, and asset tracking. Background supporting enterprise-level environments preferred.
Education:
Associate degree or equivalent experience. Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Microsoft credentials are a plus.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and transport computer equipment. May require occasional travel between company sites. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed for system rollouts or urgent support situations. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
