• 55 SimplyUp IT, a fast-growing managed IT services provider, is seeking a dependable and tech-savvy Remote IT Support Technician based near Raleigh, NC to assist our clients with day-to-day technical issues and system support.

This is a contractor (1099) position with flexible scheduling, ideal for independent tech professionals who love solving problems and providing top-tier support. ⸻

What You’ll Do:

• Provide remote support for desktop, printer, email, and connectivity issues
• Troubleshoot Windows & Mac OS, Office 365, VPN, VoIP, and network issues
• Perform remote software installs, updates, and patch management
• Escalate issues appropriately when onsite dispatch or higher-tier support is needed
• Maintain detailed ticket notes and communicate with clients in a professional manner ⸻

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of IT support experience (MSP or help desk background is a big plus)
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Mac, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and basic networking
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly via phone, chat, and email
• A quiet home office setup with reliable high-speed internet
• Based in or near the Raleigh-Durham area for occasional on-site needs (rare) ⸻ ?
