Full-Time, Onsite About the Role We are seeking a dependable and technically skilled Onsite IT Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support at one of our client’s locations in Goldsboro, NC. This full-time, onsite position requires a service-minded individual who can resolve onsite support requests efficiently while working closely with our remote support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and confidence—particularly when supporting executive and VIP users.

Schedule Hours:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00

PM Flexibility Required:

Occasional work beyond standard hours and on weekends may be necessary. Overtime is paid accordingly. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support for end-user issues related to hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Serve as the local liaison to the remote helpdesk and engineering teams, escalating issues as needed and following up to ensure timely resolution. Support executives and VIP users with discretion, urgency, and professionalism. Deploy and configure workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Conduct basic network and connectivity troubleshooting, including hardware swaps and cabling tasks. Maintain accurate records in ticketing and documentation platforms; ensure all service interactions are logged appropriately. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years in an IT support or field technician role, with proven customer service skills. Proficient in supporting Windows desktop environments and Microsoft Office applications. Familiar with Active Directory user management and basic networking concepts. Experience supporting executives and high-profile users in a professional setting. Exposure to IT management and documentation tools such as ConnectWise , Kaseya , and ITGlue is highly desirable. Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) are a plus. Other Requirements Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple concurrent issues. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs when handling IT equipment.
