IT Solutions Design Specialist at TD Bank, National Association d/b/a TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, Mount Laurel, NJ (F/T)
JOB DUTIES:
Perform comprehensive end-to-end detailed IT solutions design with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS), with focus on large-scale, complex or enterprise projects. Act as lead and expert in providing technical expertise and guidance, with subject matter expertise in multiple areas. Consult with clients and project teams on all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware/software support, development of technical solutions, and testing. Take business, Enterprise Architecture, system performance, and development standards requirements, then develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application and/or system. Participate in complex applications and systems development, programming. Propose solution options; generate stakeholder support and collaborate with stakeholders on project estimates. Produce top-notch functional, technical and user interface designs. Review technical deliverables for quality throughout detailed design and development phase, identifying gaps or redesign as needed. Define metrics and performance goals with technology partners and peers. Deliver effective and efficient solutions by meeting milestones and ensuring project deliverables are on time, within budget, and adhere to corporate quality and security standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered, as Software Engineer, or related position involving software or systems engineering. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience. Full term of experience must include each of the following: Complex applications and systems development and programming; Java; REST Application Programming Interface (API); SQL; IBM Messaging Queue (MQ); Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines; Jenkins; Unit testing including JUnit; Technical information exchange; and, Shell Script. Must have one (1) year of experience with each of the following: AWS; and, Monitoring tools including Datadog. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Telecommuting permissible from any U.S. location. Domestic travel is required up to two (2) times per year, approx. two (2) days per trip, to attend a company meeting or event, such as a project milestone or celebration.
SALARY:
$125,611 – $151,000 per year
