Field Support Engineer (Contract) Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Field Support Engineer (Contract) Ender-IT LLC 39 2nd Avenue, Secaucus, NJ 07094 Field Support Engineer (Contract) We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Support Engineer for a contract position. This role requires an individual who is immediately available , possesses strong technical acumen, and is dedicated to providing exceptional onsite support.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct field support for desktops, laptops, printers, and various peripherals. Utilize basic networking skills (IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS) to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues. Work within or demonstrate a willingness to learn about IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) environments . Maintain excellent ticketing and documentation practices for all support activities. Ensure SLA (Service Level Agreement) adherence and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime. Exhibit effective communication and multitasking skills while managing various support tasks. Travel to clinics and hospitals within a 30-60 mile radius as needed (travel will be reimbursed).

Location:

Must currently live within 10-20 miles of either New Hyde Park, NY, or Secaucus, NJ .

Transportation:

Must have a car and be willing to commute by car to the office and travel to client sites.

Availability:

Available to start immediately. Willing to complete a background verification (BGV) the same day of selection. Flexible with working hours , including night and holiday shifts.

Travel:

Willing to travel to clinics/hospitals within a 30-40 mile radius (reimbursed) as needed.

Photo ID:

Must provide a valid Photo ID with submission.

Address:

Must provide full current address for distance calculation.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong field support experience. Basic understanding and practical application of networking concepts (IP Addressing, DHCP, DNS). Exposure to or strong willingness to learn about IDF environments . Proficiency in supporting and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals . Demonstrated ability in ticketing and documentation practices . Excellent communication and multitasking skills . Commitment to SLA adherence and proactive issue resolution.
