POSITION OVERVIEW
The IT Specialist is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, implementing security protocols, and ensuring optimal IT system performance to support business operations. Server and Network Maintenance Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot local and cloud-based servers and network infrastructure. Ensure optimal performance, security, and uptime of all IT systems. Work with IT consultant to assist with implementing updates, patches, and backups on a regular schedule. Power BI Report Management Create, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards and reports. Collaborate with departments to gather data requirements and ensure accurate reporting. Ensure secure access and version control of Power BI reports. Refresh reports daily Prepare lack of activity report monthly Equipment Distribution and Inventory Management Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware and software. Distribute and track equipment issued to staff, including laptops, phones, and peripherals. Coordinate the lifecycle of equipment, including procurement, deployment, and disposal. Electronic Access Control Administer electronic access to the office, ensuring proper user access levels and maintaining security protocols. Manage and troubleshoot access card systems and software. Oversee and support DUO Two-Factor Authentication systems. Manage and update the organization website and Hudson Service Network website Vendor Liaison Serve as the primary contact for IT-related vendors, including hardware suppliers, software providers, and service contractors. Manage contracts, service agreements, and support escalations. Alarm System Maintenance Oversee the configuration, testing, and maintenance of the office alarm and security systems. Coordinate with security service providers for system updates and incident response. Mobile Device Management (MDM) Administer Verizon MDM system for all company-issued mobile devices. Deploy software updates and ensure mobile applications are up to date and compliant. Provide support and troubleshooting for mobile device issues. Car Reservation System Oversight Manage and support the company’s car reservation system. Ensure proper system functionality and user access. Coordinate with users and support staff regarding scheduling or technical issues. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
BA Degree and proven IT competence
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
. Basic computer skills (word, excel, publisher) Willingness to learn Power BI and Share Point Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred Driver’s license in satisfactory standing.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to lift 25 pounds Must be comfortable with driving. Required to go into the community and into families’ homes Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to travel/drive up to 50% of the time
