Help Desk Support Devcare solution 25 Market Street, Trenton, NJ 08611 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Support professional to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our users, ensuring that IT infrastructure operates smoothly. This role involves troubleshooting various hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity, and maintaining effective communication with end-users to resolve their technical problems efficiently. Duties Provide first-level support for IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and networking problems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows and macOS operating systems. Assist users with VPN connectivity and firewall configurations. Maintain documentation of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system. Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical challenges and provide clear solutions. Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance the overall IT support process. Ensure that all IT infrastructure is functioning optimally and report any anomalies or required maintenance. Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in IT support. Qualifications Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including computer networking principles. Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems. Experience with firewalls and VPN technologies is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Previous experience in an IT support role is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
