We are seeking a part-time Desktop Support Technician. The main role of this position is to assist with the support of employee related hardware and software issues by responding to in-house work tickets assigned by the department manager. We offer a flexible schedule with a 16 to 24 hour work week.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in the resolution of in-house work tickets. Install and administer Windows based software applications. Troubleshoot problems with existing O/S, hardware, and software products. Install and configure new laptops and other hardware. Assist with user account setup and security procedures. Assist with facility related tasks, such as equipment inventory, office and desk moves, and other needed facility maintenance.

Requirements:

Computer Science major PC familiarity Good problem-solving skills Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
