This role is essential in providing top-notch technical assistance to our clients, ensuring their software and hardware systems operate smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology, enabling them to address various technical issues effectively. Duties Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat, addressing inquiries related to software and hardware issues. Troubleshoot software problems and perform diagnostics on operating systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Assist clients with firewall configurations and VPN setups to enhance their network security. Utilize Jira for tracking support tickets and managing workflows efficiently. Maintain a thorough understanding of computer hardware components and computer networking principles to assist in resolving client issues. Document all interactions with clients accurately, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained for future reference. Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary and contribute to ongoing improvements in support processes. Experience Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position is preferred. Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques across various operating systems, particularly Windows. Familiarity with firewall configurations, VPN technologies, and computer networking fundamentals. Proficiency in using Jira or similar ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
