Position Title:
Desktop Support Technician (PC Refresh)

Yes Position Description:
Support computer users with installation of hardware, software, and networking components to meet personal computer needs Perform Windows 11 upgrades and deploy new replacement machines Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with individual or multiple computer systems to maintain proper functionality Resolve technical issues, including coordinating with and assisting vendors Conduct diagnostic reviews and generate error reports as requested Assist with computer-related studies, projects, and policy implementation within the assigned area Contribute to the design and development of standardized operational management reports for issue identification or system monitoring Research, analyze, and provide hardware/software recommendations, including ordering and purchasing information Diagnose and resolve moderate end-user hardware/software issues, including those related to remote access Perform new computer configurations and coordinate the workstation upgrade/replacement process Participate in deploying new software platforms Track user requests for equipment, information, and issue resolution by opening cases and maintaining complete case histories Confirm issue resolution with users and close cases
Skills Required:
Experience with
M365 / O365
migrations (mandatory) Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and terminology Basic problem-solving skills Good communication skills Strong organizational skills
Skills Preferred:
Working knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system Familiarity with Palo Alto VPN application as it relates to desktop support
Experience Required:
2 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma
Education Required:
High school diploma

$24.00 – $25.00 per hour
