Job:

The IT Technician provides tier 1 support for end-users, ensuring secure, HIPAA-compliant maintenance of the company’s internal IT infrastructure. This role ensures seamless IT operations by addressing technical issues, setting up and maintaining systems, and coordinating efforts with internal teams and external service providers.
Key responsibilities include:
Resolving end-user issues through troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
Configuring and training users on new equipment and technologies.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment such as computers, printers, and telephonic systems.
Supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers and client computing devices.
Assisting with proprietary software and data center operations.
Implementing security protocols and managing data backups.
Setting up and managing user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
Monitoring system performance and performing routine maintenance.
Assisting in IT inventory management and collaborating on system upgrades and network expansions.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, and Azure.
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and DNS.
Effective communication skills for training, troubleshooting, and support.
Proven ability to manage time and deliver results under pressure.
Intermediate skills in networking, software, and troubleshooting common IT issues.
Exceptional customer service, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Ability to follow procedures, multitask, and work independently.

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree in technical field (or equivalent work experience). Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Technical certifications in Network Administration, Hardware Support, or Microsoft Technologies preferred.
2-3+ years of IT support experience, including Windows server and VoIP technologies.

Compensation:

$26 – 30/hour
