Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New York, NY. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless technology support for end-users, focusing on hardware and software troubleshooting, device management, and user authentication. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Apple devices, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Manage and maintain device configurations using Jamf Pro for Apple devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime.
- Administer Okta for user authentication and access management.
- Support Apple iOS devices, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex technical issues and develop solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical processes and resolutions.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to end-users, addressing their technical concerns promptly.
- Monitor and report on system performance to identify areas for improvement. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in managing Apple devices and their ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro for device management.
- Strong understanding of Okta for identity and access management.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues.
- Familiarity with Apple iOS and its functionalities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering user-friendly support.
