Help Desk Analyst II Position Available In Onondaga, New York

Description We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Syracuse, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and set up PCs for both refresh cycles and new employee onboarding.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of IT assets across the organization.
• Install, configure, and perform repairs on computer hardware and software systems.
• Offer clear guidance and technical support to users, helping them resolve issues effectively.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate teams or personnel when necessary.
• Monitor and identify recurring technical issues, proactively notifying the IT team to address underlying problems.
• Troubleshoot and document workstation failures in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
• Develop and implement procedures or documentation to support employees and management with system applications. Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively.
• Experience working in medium-sized organizations with multiple office locations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, computer hardware, and configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Apple devices, Mac computers, and Microsoft Windows.
• Prior experience with technologies such as Cisco, Citrix, and Android development is desirable.
