Onsite IT Support LENET Long Island City, NY 11101 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This position requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology. Responsibilities Provide onsite support for advanced technical issues and escalated service requests. Perform hands-on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system maintenance at the client location. Implement configuration changes and updates directly within client environments. Act as a technical liaison between the client and Lenet’s remote support team to ensure smooth issue resolution. Maintain up-to-date documentation of client infrastructure, systems, and procedures. Build strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent onsite presence. Collaborate with the Service Dispatcher and Service Manager to coordinate onsite activities and ensure a seamless support experience. Mentor junior engineers by sharing onsite findings, best practices, and lessons learned from escalations. Identify recurring technical issues during onsite visits, document root causes, and work with senior engineers to recommend solutions. Provide technical insight to the Business Development team when scoping client projects or infrastructure upgrades. Recommend service improvements based on firsthand client environment observations. Qualifications Proven experience in technical support or IT-related roles. Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with firewall configurations, DNS management, and VPN setups. Proficient in Windows Server administration and various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Solid understanding of computer hardware components and their functionality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
