IT Support Technician I Position Available In Wayne, New York

IT Support Technician I Status:

Full-time, Hourly Reports to: Vice President, IT This position is a great fit for someone who loves solving problems, figuring things out, and wants to be part of an elite team of IT professionals. As an IT Support Technician, you will provide technical support to staff, maintain and repair hardware and software systems, and ensure the efficient and secure operation of our credit union’s IT environment. Your purpose:

• Provide help desk support, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade PCs, printers, and other peripheral devices.
• Track and manage inventory, including software licensing and hardware components.
• Partner with vendors and internal departments to support ATM/ITM systems, physical security systems, and digital member services.
• Support daily operations and contribute to ongoing projects, system updates, and procedural improvements.
• Provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotating basis for system maintenance or on-call issues.

We are looking for:

• 1-3 years experience in an IT support role, preferably in a help desk or hardware/software troubleshooting environment.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of networking, system updates, and Microsoft environments.
• Willingness to stay informed on emerging technology trends and maintain compliance with internal policies.

Location/Schedule:

• Olean, NY
• Local travel is necessary
• Core hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Position requires rotating on-call evening / weekend availability with other members of the IT Department.

The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law. This salary range only reflects base wages and does not include benefits or other types of compensation.
