Help Desk Support Technician Position Available In Westchester, New York

Help Desk Support Technician The Masters School 49 Clinton Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522 The Helpdesk Support Technician is an entry-level position. This position is responsible for responding to Level 1 Helpdesk calls and emails, basic troubleshooting, escalating tickets to administrators as needed and completing projects as directed. Manage and respond to support tickets in a timely and professional manner Experience using and supporting Windows, MacOS, Android and iOS operating systems Diagnose and resolve end-user network or local printer problems, hardware problems, VoIP phone problems, e-mail, Internet, and local-area network access problems Perform computer hardware repair for computer and peripherals Imaging Windows and Macs Maintenance and installation of classroom technologies – projectors, audio equipment, AppleTVs Maintenance of lab computers and related peripherals Assist in A/V equipment management and event setup (speakers, microphones, conference phones) Maintain and update VoIP Phone system data Educate and train Faculty and Staff members on how to operate classroom technologies Maintain and manage user, group, and computer accounts in Active Directory Asset management (computers, printers, phones, toner, A/V equipment, peripherals) Printer management (multi-function copiers and LaserJet printers) Availability for weekend and after-hours events and other related duties as assigned Identifies functional problems with equipment and escalates more complex cases to supervisor Consistently maintain excellent customer service, professionalism and work ethic in all situations Must practice excellent communication skills via phone, email, and in person
