Valhalla, NY 10595 • Hybrid work Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. The IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining our systems and providing support for various operating environments. Duties Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems. Manage and maintain VPN connections to ensure secure remote access for users. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux environments. Assist in the configuration and management of network devices. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Support Active Directory management tasks, including user account creation, modification, and deletion. Document technical processes and solutions for future reference. Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance user experience. Requirements Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles. Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues across various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux). Experience with VPN technologies and network security best practices. Familiarity with Meraki networking equipment is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
