IT Technician / Network Specialist – Upper Westchester, NY Citinet Solutions Lincolndale, NY 10540 Are you a self-motivated IT professional eager to grow your career in a dynamic technology environment? We are seeking a full-time IT Technician to join our technology team in Upper Westchester, NY. This role offers hands-on experience with diverse technologies, including network infrastructure, PoE cameras, wireless access points, and database management, to support your career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide full time on-site and remote technical support for computer systems, hardware, and software. Install and configure PoE cameras, network switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and other network devices. Set up and maintain workstations, peripherals (e.g., routers, printers), and Windows Server environments. Manage and troubleshoot VLANs, network performance, and cybersecurity protocols. Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades. Assist users with technical issues via phone, remote access, or in-person support. Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and client requests. Support technology team projects and contribute to database management and reporting.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role (1+ years preferred). Associate degree or certifications in Computer Science or related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Google IT Support). Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server (2016/2019), Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and basic networking concepts. Familiarity with configuring Aruba or Cisco Layer 3 switches and network layers (OSI model) is a plus. Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL) and data reporting preferred. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work on ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and mount TVs, servers, or monitors. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required for on-site support). U.S. work authorization and ability to a pass background check

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable working on ladders to install PoE cameras and wireless access points. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for equipment installation.
