Our client is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service Desk Technician to support our surge in technology support needs during the start of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, supporting the technologies that power over 40 school districts across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer a high volume of incoming calls to the service desk Accurately escalate tickets to appropriate analysts and field support staff Maintain calm and efficiency in high-pressure environments Deliver outstanding customer service via phone and remote channels Perform basic IT troubleshooting (password resets, remote support, etc.) Communicate clearly with end users, internal teams, and technical staff
Required Skills & Experience:
Prior experience working in a high-volume call center or service desk environment Proven ability to perform under pressure and stay organized Strong phone presence and customer service instincts Familiarity with IT troubleshooting in a support setting
Preferred Skills:
Experience with remote support tools Knowledge of password reset protocols and basic IT administration
