PC TECH I, Corporate Services (FT, Days) 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 100 Abington Executive Park, Clarks Summit, PA 18411 Under the direction of the Manager and/or Director of Technology Services, the PC Technician I, assists with the installation of PC hardware; testing and set-up of new PC’s; installation of software; and repair of PC’s. This position is also responsible for help desk operations including taking calls, logging, routing to appropriate staff member. Assigned duties are implemented in a manner appropriate to the age-specific needs of the individuals served.

EDUCATION

Associate’s degree/Trade School Degree preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE

This is an entry-level position. Candidates should possess a basic understanding in the computer field including hardware, software, communications, and personal computer networking.

SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of the most current windows operating system and any related software. Must be willing and able to attend training seminars as needed to provide necessary systems support. Good interpersonal skills required for effective communication with staff, external personnel etc. Good problem solving skills and the ability to seek out help from senior IT staff to resolve issues. Valid PA driver’s license and available transportation required to transport self to all facilities to support all computer systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position involves bending, reaching, and stooping (occasionally in strained position) throughout shift. Ability to transport self throughout facility is required. May produce visual fatigue. Must be able to travel to all Allied Services Facilities as required.
