• Develop and maintain an information security program to safeguard the organization’s data, systems, and networks, while staying in compliance with AS9100D and CMMC standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments within the business to identify potential security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures.
• Monitor security and personnel logs to identify potential security incidents.
• Help design and implement new security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive business, and personal, information.
• Design and manage security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and encryption tools.
• Coordinate incident response activities, investigate breaches, and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Stay up to date on the latest information security trends, technologies, and provide process improvements quarterly (AS9100D).
• Educate and train staff on best practices for company privacy.
• Training and education to follow current government CMMC policies and procedures, while being the voice for the company’s security measures.
• Conduct internal audits to test the company’s implementation of security measures. Knowledge and expertise that matter for this role:
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

o Certifications highly desired:

CISSP, CISM, and/or CompTIA Security+.

• Familiarity with industry standards, such as

CMMC, AS9100D, HIPPA

Laws, etc. ( Preferred ).

• Experience in managing security controls and conducting risk assessments ( Preferred ).
• Proficient in the use of firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management tools ( Preferred ).

• You’ll foster a safe work environment for your team, while sharing feedback and suggestions with management.
