Junior Helpdesk Technician

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, utilizing your knowledge to identify and resolve problems efficiently. You will provide support via phone, email, and in-person, helping to resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up user accounts and configuring workstations.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or other IT staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Support routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and inventory tracking. Requirements
• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
• Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and common desktop applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A customer-first attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or

Microsoft Certified:

Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.

• Salary Description 50k-55k
