IT Infrastructure Engineer Position Available In Montgomery, Pennsylvania

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible to manage,maintain, and optimize OpenShift container platform and virtualmachine (VM) environments. The ideal candidate will ensure thereliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure servicesto support business-critical applications. The role requiresexpertise in managing Kubernetes-based platforms (e.g., OpenShift)and virtualization technologies, as well as experience inautomation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, InformationTechnology, or a related field. Relevant certifications orequivalent experience will also be considered.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing OpenShift orKubernetes platforms.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managingvirtualized environments (e.

g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
• Proficiency incontainer technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools(e.g., Helm, Operators).
• Experience with automation tools such asAnsible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding ofnetworking concepts (e.g., DNS, VLANs, load balancing).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure andapplications.

Preferred Certifications:

• Red Hat CertifiedSpecialist in OpenShift Administration.
• VMware CertifiedProfessional (VCP) or similar virtualization certifications.
• Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• ITIL Foundation Certification orsimilar process-oriented certifications.

Pay Transparency Laws insome locations require disclosure of compensation-relatedinformation. For this position, actual salaries will vary and maybe above or below the range based on various factors including butnot limited to location, experience, and performance. In additionto base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligiblefor a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a varietyof benefits to employees including health insurance coverage,voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disabilityinsurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid timeoff (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range forthis role is $80,080 – $104,000.
