Operations Technology Support 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Philadelphia, PA 19135 Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Technology/Systems Administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing automation systems across multiple plants and distribution centers. This role requires expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), as well as a deep understanding of operational technology. Salary range $60k-85k/year First shift – 8.5 hour day
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain automation systems in various plants and distribution centers. Oversee the integration of operational technology with ERP and WMS systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, ERP, and WMS systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and efficiency. User interaction with manufacturing floor and manufacturing equipment. Implement upgrades and enhancements to automation systems as needed. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide training and support to end-users on automation, ERP, and WMS systems. Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends related to operational technology and automation. Participate in planning and implementing projects related to system enhancements and expansions. Minimum Requirements Must have experience working on a plant floor. This position requires time on the floor interacting with mechanical pieces. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field desired. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Proven experience working as a systems administrator or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Expertise in managing automation systems, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and MES. Proficiency in ERP and WMS systems, such as, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus. Certifications in relevant technologies or systems administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Certified Automation Professional) are desirable. Willingness to travel to different plant locations as needed.
