• $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Excel Mid-level Microsoft Office High school diploma or GED Trade school IT Associate’s degree 2 years CompTIA A+ Full Job Description EBryIT is currently seeking a W2VHE Computer Field Technician to assist us with computer lab install to include desktops, cart wiring for Chromebooks and new school with laptop and desktop installs, installs over network imaging for a local School District and other customers within the Charleston and surrounding areas.

The Computer Field Technicians will be required to have 2+ years of business professional experience in the IT field and 1 year of managing a team of technicians. The technician will need to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to do wire.

Project Dates:

June 10

• August 30th, possibly longer.

Workdays:

Monday-Friday Hours of works: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Work hours will drop to part-time hours after August) Computer Field Technician will travel to customer sites within Charleston and surrounding areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with loading/unloading equipment. De-installation of old legacy systems. Installation of new computer systems. Imaging computers. Installs over network imaging. All school sites in Charleston County School District. Reliable transportation to commute to the numerous school sites. Proof of good driving history. Good MVR over the last 3 years. Proficient with excel spreadsheets and MS Office 365 products. Tech needs to be able to keep up with the high pace of installs and crawl under desks to the wire. Must be able to stoop, bend and kneel throughout the day.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma is required. Associates degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or two-year college or technical school is preferred. Two years+ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
