Job Summary:

The Managed Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the managed services team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT support and services to clients. This role involves supervising technical staff, providing leadership, optimizing operational processes, ensuring the team meets service-level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations, and supporting the development of new managed service products. The supervisor will report to the Director of Network Engineering and work closely with other technical and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Additionally, the supervisor will track state contract dates to ensure compliance and timely renewals, and ensure customer network documentation remains up-to-date as infrastructure evolves.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Equivalent work experience would be 10+ years of experience in managed services, IT support, or telecom field work, with a strong emphasis on supervision or team leadership. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, and security best practices. Experience in managed service product development, including defining, designing, and bringing new products to market. Experience managing contracts, specifically keeping track of contract dates and compliance. Experience documenting network topologies and maintaining up-to-date records of customer networks as they evolve. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proven track record in managing and mentoring teams, with a focus on driving results and customer satisfaction. Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
