  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled Deskside Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • + Provide deskside support to end-users for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.

+ Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. + Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications. + Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT equipment. + Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software. + Document and track issues using a ticketing system. + Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues. + Educate end-users on best practices and provide training as needed. + Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Qualifications:
  • + Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Proven experience as a Deskside Technician or similar role. + Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems. + Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Certification in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar is a plus.

  • + On-site work with occasional travel to other locations as needed. + Ability to lift and move IT equipment as required.
