Job Description
IT Help Desk Support Assistant Galbreath Costner, LLC 131 Falls Street, Greenville, SC 29601 We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Help Desk Support Assistant to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support to our employees, ensuring timely resolution of issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues, escalating more complex problems to senior IT staff as necessary. Maintain accurate records of support requests, solutions, and follow-up actions using the helpdesk ticketing system. Work closely with other members of the IT team to identify and implement improvements to the support process. Support employee hardware, network, and VOIP needs as they transfer to other locations. Keep IT inventory tracker updated, ensuring proper documentation and asset management. Relay any necessary order information or issues to appropriate members of the leadership team.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and network systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications. Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Patience and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
