We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Desktop Applications Specialist in our Columbia office.
Responsibilities include:
New user account creation, management, and role-based security assignments Imaging endpoints and installing Windows applications Assist with troubleshooting firm desktops and laptops in a Microsoft Windows 10/11 environment End-user application support providing prompt, courteous, and efficient solutions for hardware, software, and information services problems to all users Identify, research, and address technical problems to final resolution Travel to all seven offices in South Carolina and Augusta, GA to provide onsite support as needed Provide after hours and weekend support to end users on rotation with IT team Candidates should have the following skills and/or attributes: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field 2-3 years Help Desk experience or Application Support, preferably in a law firm In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional suite, including creating macros, advanced document formatting, mail merge, and managing custom add-ins Familiarity with SCCM task sequences, PXEBoot and Group Policy Working knowledge of document management software such as iManage and document templating software Thorough knowledge and understanding of networked PC’s and printers in a Windows network and the ability to efficiently troubleshoot technical problems.
