Must be a U.S. Citizen About the Role The South Carolina Judicial Branch (SCJB) is seeking a skilled Client Technologies Technician to assist with a critical laptop and desktop deployment project. This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite with SCJB’s dedicated IT team to support modernization efforts across the state judiciary. If you’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in device deployment and imaging, we’d love to hear from you! Scope of the Project This statewide initiative involves the imaging, preparation, and deployment of 600 laptops and 23 desktops for SCJB staff. You’ll play a key role in hands-on IT deployment work, helping ensure each device is configured to organizational standards and securely delivered to end-users. Key Responsibilities Device Imaging & Setup Image laptops and desktops using SCJB-approved tools. Apply OS and core apps, validate configurations, and follow security protocols. Apply system updates, security patches, and software installations. Device Configuration & Deployment Configure user accounts, network settings, domain joins. Label and inventory devices accurately. Coordinate rollout and provide onsite support during delivery. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed logs of device status, deployment progress, and issues. Communicate clearly with IT leads and provide daily updates. Team Collaboration Work with Help Desk and Network teams to ensure deployment success. Follow all SCJB policies and data security regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience with: Device imaging Device configuration and deployment Inventory management Technical documentation High School Diploma required; some college preferred Certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a strong plus Must be available full-time during standard business hours Ability to pass criminal background, credit, and e-verify checks
