Salary:

$33,312-$36,312Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middleTennessee and has four campuses that serve students from elevencounties. GeneralFunction:

Serves as the first point of contact for all usersseeking technical assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:

High Schooldiploma and one year of experience working in a technology relatedfield. Additional related post-secondary education can besubstituted for the required experience on a year for year basis orindustry certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate Degreeearned from a regionally accredited institution in a relatedprogram and one year of experience working in a technology relatedfield.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide first line oftechnical support and assistance to the Motlow community. Performtroubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinentquestions. Determine the best course of action based on the issueand details provided by the users. Escalate unresolved issues tothe next level of support personnel. Assist with general technicalsupport for all Motlow devices. Maintain proper inventory of alltechnology assets. Support documentation of knowledgebase, whileproperly recording events, problems, and resolutions in ITSMplatform. Assist with technology setup for new hires, office moves,and additions including but not limited to user accounts, phoneextensions, network connectivity, etc. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal skills andthe ability to effectively communicate with a wide range ofindividuals and constituencies in a diverse community. Ability toestablish and maintain effective professional relationships withstudents, colleagues and other stakeholders Knowledge of customerservice principles and practices and the ability to effectivelyapply them in the higher education environment Working knowledge oftechnology equipment to include hardware repair, softwareinstallation, troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
