We are looking for a Help Desk Support Specialist 1 who will be responsible for providing world-class technical customer service to our internal team members. Responsibilities:
- Provides technical-world class customer service to DBH Distributing and distributor team members responding to walk-up requests, support tickets, phone calls, and emails.
- Initial triage of issues coming into the helpdesk and assigning them to the appropriate individual.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records in ticketing system for all support requests.
- Provides tier 1 support for the Apple iPad mini tablet, tablet sales app, and accessories.
- Assist with basic Mobile Device Management, inventory control, and repair of equipment.
- New computer setup, configuration, software installation, and peripheral support.
- Coordinate computer, tablet, receipt printer, or scanner hardware warranty repairs with vendors.
- Conduct new user setup in Active Directory, Microsoft O365, and file permissions.
- Provides in person and remote support for office end users computers, peripherals, and software.
- Provides end user support for remote access via Azure Virtual Desktop or VPN software.
- Installs O365 apps, virtual meeting software, anti-virus, management, and cybersecurity applications.
Skills Needed:
- Associate’s degree in an IT field, Comptia A+ or equivalent IT Certifications.
- 2 years of customer service experience minimum with good emotional intelligence.
- 2+ years of technical experience in an IT Support role is preferred.
- Strong computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
- Windows 11 OS experience is a must; Mac OS is a plus.
- Experience with Apple iPhone or iPad iOS is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic user administration for Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 preferred.
- Familiar with basic networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and IP routing is helpful.
- Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences.
