Job Description
Information Technology Specialist Lexus of Nashville Nashville, TN 37228 The IT Tier 1 Technician is responsible for providing end user support and software, hardware, and network assistance for the dealership. Partner and communicate with store/location managers to ensure all current and future needs are taken care of and IT needs met. Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets related to technical difficulties with hardware, software, and the network. Resolve Network switch and connectivity issues Experience installing and maintaining open lot WI-FI network Experience with IP networked security cameras Experience pulling and installing CAT 6 cabling Experience with installation of POE security cameras with server Interface with infrastructure, database, and development personnel Communicate plan, progress, and issues in a timely manner Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement Performs other duties or special projects as assigned Ability to complete multiple simultaneous projects in a timely manner Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Ability and desire to provide excellent customer-service to internal customers Working knowledge of operating systems and applications Ability to work independently, onsite (not a remote position), and in a dynamic environment Automotive software experience a plus Bachelors degree in IT, engineering, computer science or a related field a plus Must be able to pass pre-employment screens, drug test and background test
