The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot various technical issues effectively. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting our staff in their technology needs. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems. Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications. Assist with help desk operations by responding to user inquiries and providing solutions for technical challenges. Support computer networking tasks, including LAN setup, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring network security. Maintain documentation of IT processes, user guides, and troubleshooting steps using tools like Jira. Collaborate with team members to enhance IT services and improve overall efficiency within the office environment. Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices to provide informed recommendations. Experience Proven experience in technical support or a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in computer management and troubleshooting across various operating systems, including macOS. Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, particularly LAN configurations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users. Familiarity with help desk software and ticketing systems such as Jira is a plus.
