Ken Smith Auto Parts is a locally owned and operated parts supplier for the professional installer. We have over 50 years of experience serving family-owned repair shops, vehicle fleets, national service chains, and dealerships. Our customer service staff are experts in parts with decades of experience cataloging and finding the correct parts for your repair. We offer quick delivery and a huge selection of original equipment and aftermarket brands in stock. We also sell tools, shop equipment, and supplies.

Basic Qualifications:

Proven experience in a technical support role. Strong troubleshooting experience. Strong working knowledge of MS Windows OS and MS Office software. Proficient in hardware troubleshooting. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of wireless and wired networking. Ability to maintain regular attendance and timeliness. Must be self-motivated, capable of multitasking And have excellent time management. Duties and responsibilities may be added, changed, or removed at the discretion of the Systems Administrator. Light lifting is required, approx. 40 lbs. The weight of a computer, monitor, etc. Some light travel may be required to other KSAP locations.

Responsibilities:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our company users, providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. Provide first-level technical support to company users via phone, email, or in-person. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software. Provide prompt and courteous support to End users in resolving issues and offering guidance. Provide regular communication with the Systems Administrator on work activities and status reports.
