IT Project Management Specialist Position Available In Shelby, Tennessee

Job Description:

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To develop and manage project assignmentsthrough completion; to communicate results; to make recommendationsto management; and to ensure process compliance/oversight.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identifies requiredresources; researches project data, procedures and history for athorough understanding of project direction. Generates and analyzesstatistical data reports. Develops, prepares and manages projectplans through completion. Communicates activity progress toinvolved parties. Resolves issues that arise involvingstakeholders, when appropriate. Transitions program to managementpersonnel. Participates in oral presentations. Develops andprovides training as needed. Ensures required release materials arecompleted.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers companypersonnel policies in all areas and follows company staffingstandards and training recommendations. Interviews, hires andestablishes colleague performance development plans; conductscolleague performance discussions. Provides support, guidance,leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance. Performsother duties as assigned. Supports the organization’s qualityprogram(s). Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education &Licensing Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Administration,Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited college oruniversity preferred. Computer Sciences courses preferred.

Experience Six (6) years of related experience or equivalentcombination of education and experience required two (2) years ofgeneral business experience with emphasis on data analysis orplanning.
