• Desktop Support Technician
• to join our Technology andBusiness Solutions team.

In this role, you’ll provide hands-on desktop support in a dynamichelpdesk environment, assist users in troubleshooting technical issues,and train team members on systems and applications. We’re looking forsomeone with a strong work ethic, a customer-first mindset, and apassion for technology.

Candidates who are residents of VT are eligible to enjoy a

• hybridwork
• arrangement, working onsite from our office in Manchester Center,Vermont, three days per week and at home. All candidates must be withina commutable distance to, and available to work from, our office inManchester Center.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues
• Train end users on our technical systems and applications
• Administer user accounts, user groups, and file permissions in a Windows Active Directory environment
• Solve computer problems such as slow performance, VPN issues, e-mail problems, software installation and configuration
• Provide off-hours, rotating, on call support
• Travel between our locations in southern Vermont as needed to provide on-site assistance
• What you bring:
• Someone who can effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users
• The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• A disciplined, well organized, and trustworthy team member
• Strong time management, organizational, and documentation skills
• A basic understanding of networking and remote access technologies
• 2-3 years of progressive IT experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
• Ability to pass a background check
• Desirabl1e

But Not Required:

• Associates or technical degree
• Experience with OSX
• Experience with retail Point of Sale systems
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+
