Role Overview:
As the Chief Architect Leader for Deloitte’s DT-US Product Engineering, you will be the visionary and driving force behind our technology strategy, pivotal in driving Product Engineering Transformation . You will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for both strategic and tactical decisions, and accountable for delivering enterprise initiatives. Your role will encompass driving the architectural vision, strategy, and technology roadmap, overseeing system design and enterprise architecture, ensuring technical integrity, and achieving product objectives to transform various products or business areas. You will build and nurture the architecture function alongside fellow engineering leaders, drive technical strategies for the future, advocate for best practices, and mentor team members to foster a culture of innovation and excellence in architectural design. Strategic Planning:
Transform business goals into actionable strategies and roadmaps, evolving our technology blueprint and architecture to deliver incremental business value with fully automated, resilient products and platforms, while shaping the technical vision and architectural strategy to achieve business goals and contribute to the overall firm’s technical vision.
Technical Leadership:
Design long-term, resilient, secure and scalable technology architectures with a focus on AI, while engaging in hands-on architecture design, architectural reviews, and technical mentorship to ensure innovative and practical solutions.
Team Leadership:
Own and drive the architecture practice, focusing on recruiting and managing hands-on architects and engineering leaders to build a high-performing team. Lead by example and model the way of a true engineer – by showcasing examples of tackling complex architectural challenges, leading critical projects, conducting technical workshops and providing real-time solutions.
Innovation and Thought Leadership:
Identify and recommend new technology trends impacting Product Engineering, lead innovation activities, support and evolve enterprise platform capabilities, and showcase work externally through conferences, white papers, and industry publications. Mastery in

Qualifications and Required Skills:
Educational Background A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., MS) is preferred but not required. Experience is the most relevant factor. Experience 20+ years of hands-on software engineering experience at the enterprise level, including start-ups, architecting, designing, coding, deploying and operating products & platforms. 5+ years of experience with driving technology vision, strategy, research and roadmap. 10+ years of experience with cloud-native engineering, using FaaS/PaaS on multiple cloud hyper-scalers like Azure, AWS, and GCP. 5+ years in data engineering and AI/ML creating production-grade applications with exposure to GenAI Technical Expertise Strong fullstack experience in various frontend, backend, integration and COTs applications such as Angular, React, Node
JS, .NET
Core/C#, Java, Mulesoft, SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce Deep experience with Big-data technologies such as SQL/NoSQL, Python/R, MS Stack, Mobile, RPA, D&A.
